Today we submitted our second grant ever!
Sprint is granting awards for $25,000; $15,000 and $10,000 to local organizations in Atlanta, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver and New York City. We are so excited for this opportunity; if we were awarded the maximum amount, that would translate to about 10,000 new books for local recipient groups.
If programs awarded five new books to each child, that equates to
2,000 children starting home libraries of their own!
We worked really hard to crank out this application, but we're feel great about it. We won't have any more information until August, but we will keep you posted!
More books to kids in need :)
